These Paints Dry to Touch in 15-20 minutes and Permanently in as fast as 1 Day ~ Depending on how much Reboning Gel, ULTRA MATTE and Thinner you use ~ You can quicken the drying time with a regular Hair Blow Dryer (use 'Low' setting) ~ you simply allow each layer of flesh foundation, blushing, and details to air dry and then continue! No need to leave the oven running for hours in your home ~ Our Paints Air Dry on their Own! We do recommend you always use our thinner with the paints.
The reason you should try to always use thinner and not plain tap water is that when these high quality polymer paints are thinned too much with water, this can greatly inhibit their abilities to blend smoothly and adhere to surfaces and too much water leaves the pigments with no thinning paint base to work within.
Our paints dry completely, adhere well, and do not flake or streak or turn orange with heat like other brands may because we do offer our own specially blended thinner with many Baby Tones paint sets and recommend that it is always used when thinning and blending your reborning paints. Using thinner assures you that you are blending these quality polymer pigments in a translucent paint base that contains adhesion and blending properties to enhance the paint's performance on your reborn creations.

Our Newest Baby Tones AirDry Paint Medium for Reborn Artists is our Ultra Matte Mix-IN Paint Base Concentrate. This Product is excellent for controlling shine and adding texture to your work. Use a tiny amount in your paints to make them more blendable. Ultra Matte Base has the ability to slow drying and enhance the distribution of tiny paint pigment particles so that they don't clump up on baby doll and spread & blend with ease on your projects ~ This is helpful when you are making very thinned-out layers for reborning . Use the paint base on thinned out mixtures to keep the color washes wonderfully transparent while at the same time ensuring paint layer will stay put where you want it and blend well on doll's surface. Use also as a spot-corrector for shiny areas and also as a very effective light sealer for your work. Ultra Matte also helps protect each layer of paint applied to baby.

You also receive our Six Well Paint Palette, Latex Sponges and Dry Large Pore Texture Sponge for using to make Muted/Soft Tones, and applying a Gel Wash to your Color Layers. I use the pouncer for applying my baby's blush tones and the feathering brush to 'dry brush' my painted creases for a real effect
Also included is a plastic glove to handle vinyl parts while you are painting them to prevent the oils in your hands from interfering with your painting

To complete doll you will need approximately 2 bags of our glass beads, 1-2 bags of our poly weighting pellets, also about 8 oz stuffing, 1/2 oz of your choice of mohair or alpaca, and rooting needles, possibly a tool if you prefer. Sugar can take a small set of lashes or have her lashes drawn on as mentioned in tutorial. Hair can be rooted or also can be painted on baby with supplies included in your Super Set.
