Vanderbilt Garden, Summer 2008

This was painted recently in Hyde Park, New York (July 2008). This was painted in the Italian Garden at the famous Vanderbilt Estate. The garden house is scene in the distance, closer we see vines, leaves and orange flowers climbing up and growing up the nearby brick structure which brings us forward in space. In the immediate foreground are white and pink flowers.
