BSG's Eric McKenna worked with Paul and Washburn's USA Custom Shop Director, Terry Atkins, to put together a truly 'organic' USA Custom Shop Preacher - with a price point which makes it available to even more players and collectors! The result? The PS5 from KISS legend and rock's finest frontman- Paul Stanley!!

Eric drew up the specs and together with Paul's input, a truly 'organic' singlecut was created.

So, what exactly *is* the PS5? A USA Custom Shop Preacher!

Specifications include:

Mahogany Body Back, Mahogany Carved Top fully Bound in Black, Maple Set-In Neck, Black Speed Knobs, Black TonePros bridge, Black Grover Tuners with Keystone Buttons, Dual Seymour Duncan SPECIAL ORDER Plain Gold Covered PEARLY GATES humbuckers with Black Surrounds, 22 Fret Ebony Fretboard with Large Mother of Pearl Block Inlay (from the PS9200 series), Preacher Headstock with Mother of Pearl Washburn Script and Preacher Art Deco Inlay. The PS5 Guitars have Custom Metal 'Etched' Truss Rod Covers with the PS5 Script and BSG 'Lion in the Moon' Logo.

This PS5 is finished in HIGH GLOSS Lacquer!! PS5 guitars again, are exclusive to Boogie Street Worldwide Guitars and they are very rare. Made in very small groups.

Please Note: Washburn's Custom Shop Director Terry Atikins informed us on that on this particular guitar, at the neck joint, where they merge (glue) the maple neck into the mahogany body, the one side of the joint is not as 'clean' as what is standard. Meaning, when they scrape and re-sand the joint before finishing (either oil or high gloss) this small spot is not as 'clean' as he would have liked. Purely a small cosmetic issue. No other issues and the guitar is under FULL factory warranty. This is NOT a Factory 'Second'. Terry just wanted the buyer to know of the joint and assure it's a small cosmetic issue - nothing structural. The 7th picture (to the right) from the bottom will show the issue Terry informed us of.

The Preacher guitar is PERSONALLY designed by Paul. His appreciation for vintage instruments and the traditional feel & tone of legendary singlecut guitars such as the Gibson Les Paul played a part in his Preacher design. The Preacher design feels 'familiar' and comfortable. It delivers 'the' tone as you would expect from a great solidbody, double humbucker guitar. But the Preacher design adds a bit of 'flair'. The lines are sexier. The body shape slightly more progressive and the slender headstock adds to the over sleekness. It's truly one of Washburn's finest moments.
