The Waterbury double dial perpetual calendar wall clocks have always been popular with collectors due to their unique, highly detailed looks and quality workmanship. This model, the No. 36, has a unique, ornate, very Victorian appeal with carved columns and lots of trim, carvings, and adornments. This is about as nice and original an example of this model as you could ever hope to find. The oak case in excellent untouched condition with its original finish. All trim, columns, and carvings still present and intact save for one wood "button" in the center top trim, a very simple fix. Both dial pans are original with no extra holes and retain their original paint in remarkable condition. Both dials are signed. Both rollers are original as well. Both movements are original and working properly. 8-day spring-driven time and strike movement running and chiming well. Calendar advances when lever is pushed, may need adjustment after shipping. Two nice original labels on the back. Original bird bob also present. Clock is factory stamped on the back #272. This model is a unique size, very well-proportioned and attractive on the wall.
