WEDGWOOD Jasperware 1992 Christmas Plate

CHILDREN SLEDDING

Issued in 1992 by Wedgwood as the 3rd plate in their limited edition Victorian Christmas series. Produced in traditional blue jasper with white jasper holly leaf border; the word “Christmas” and the date are embossed on the blue background. Central scene of an older boy pulling a sled on which is seated a younger girl.  Just below them is a ribbon that reads MERRY CHRISTMAS!

EXCELLENT CONDITION! (no chips, cracks, or repairs).  Diameter 8.25 inch (20.5 cm).  Original box included; some scuffing to the box.  Old dealer stock, never displayed or sold at retail.
