Description:  This is a marvelous and large piece of pottery by Weller Pottery in the Roma or Flemish line.  It's a big jardiniere and features not only the classic Roma wreath around the circumference but is enhanced by 5 lozenges featuring an Art Nouveau type woman smelling flowers and all this on a background that looks like Flemish.  I've never seen this design before!

Note that this is VERY heavy and will weigh about 7 lbs to ship.

Size: 8" Tall x 9" Wide

Condition: Very good vintage - there are two manufacturing flaws, a flat chip on the foot and a chip on one of the ladies that occurred during the making because they are glazed over along with the rest of the pot

History:  Weller Pottery was founded in 1872 and ceased production in 1948.

Note that I combine shipping on purchases of multiple items. All fragile items are double boxed for safe and secure shipping, paper items are sent in rigid mailers or boxes and are waterproofed. 10619
