This is truly an incredible find. When is the last time you saw a vintage ROLLED NEVER FOLDED original one sheet from the early 1970's?

This is what all you Michael Crichton fans have been waiting for!

This is a genuine 27"x41" U.S. one sheet ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTER issued by the studio when the film was released and meant for theatrical display.

Undoubtedly the rarest one sheet for this film, most collectors have never even seen or heard of this one!

These can be very difficult to find in any condition! A long time can go by without one of these coming up for sale. You will have trouble finding a nicer one.

CONDITION/GRADE: C8-C9

EXCELLENT-NEAR MINT

This poster has a few extremely minor imperfections. Not in perfect shape but still very presentable.

Unused!! Rolled, never folded. Well preserved. Very little general storage wear. No tears, no tape, no pin holes, no writing.

Please examine our extra large images very carefully!! These detailed photos generally speak for themselves. We do not always list every little defect!! We try and list any that we think are important or those that may not be readily visible. We realize that nobody likes surprises.

Some additional defects this poster may or may not have: fold or edge wear, pin holes, general storage wear, writing or tape on the back, tears, stains, dirt, minor cross fold separations, etc..

If we have described this poster as UNUSED, it will NOT have any tape or pinholes but still may contain some very light storage wear.

Finding rolled/never folded one sheets for most titles prior to the mid 1980's is EXTREMELY difficult! Most collectors will pay a HUGE premium for a rolled one sheet compared to a folded one in the same condition.

If a vintage poster is in terrific unrestored condition like this one (EX C8 or better), many experienced collectors will place a premium on it (when compared to a linen backed/restored one). Most experienced collectors prefer unrestored items to restored ones because they believe they will appreciate more in value.

When buying collectibles it is always wise to buy "the best of the best" as they stand a greater chance of appreciation. This poster is considered to be within that class and is definitely INVESTMENT QUALITY.

Please be aware that most Original Movie Posters issued before the mid 1980's were issued FOLDED (over 95%). This is NOT considered a defect. They were shipped to theaters this way. Vintage rolled posters do exist; however, they are extremely rare. We can have any folded poster Linen Backed which will make the fold lines virtually disappear.

Also please note that most movie posters were actually used at the theater, and some will contain slight imperfections like writing on the back, pin holes, fold wear, small tears, etc. These are all very common and to be expected, but if they bother you, all these minor flaws can be remedied in the linen backing process. Linen Backing preserves and can actually increase the value of a poster. For the most part, any flaws will be fixed and the poster will appear to be in Near Mint condition. Unless otherwise specified, poster measurements quoted above are approximate to the nearest inch. For example, if we say a poster is 27"x41" its precise measurements may be something like 26 3/4" x 40 7/8". This is quite common for all original movie posters.

BEWARE OF "FAKE" MOVIE POSTERS!!

There are bootlegs, reprints, reproductions, re-strikes, re-issues, etc. all over ebay. WE DO NOT SELL THESE AS ORIGINALS LIKE OTHERS DO! There are many unscrupulous dealers who successfully pass off these posters as originals. They have been doing it for years! These fakes are almost indistinguishable from originals, only experts can tell. Many who buy them don't know they have been taken; only years later when they sell them do they find out they are worthless. Most are from popular movies from the 70's and 80’s. They usually appear in insert size 14x36 and one sheet size 27x41. These posters can be found from dealers who seem trustworthy because of their great feedback. Again, all we can say is BEWARE!! We grade our posters according to the Iguide Universal 10-Point Movie Poster Grading Scale, which is summarized below:

C10 Mint - Investment quality. No perceptible flaws of any kind.
C9 Near Mint - Investment quality. Minor flaw on an otherwise unused poster.
C8 Excellent - Investment quality. A few minor defects.
C7 Very Good to Excellent - Fine condition. Still a very nicely preserved item.
C6 Very Good - The typical used poster in average condition.
C5 Good to Very Good - A heavily-worn item.
C4 Good - Below average but still suitable for display.
C3 Fair - Heavily worn, but yet still complete.
C2 Poor to Fair - An extremely worn, possibly even incomplete item.
C1 Poor - The lowest grade, representing items in the lowest possible condition.

Some of our posters are "between grades". For example, a C8-C9 poster will contain all the qualities/characteristics of a Near Mint C9 except for one or two very minor flaws that we believe prevent it from being a true C9.

How many posters can be combined in one shipment at no extra charge?

If all of your purchases/wins are rolled and can be shipped rolled in a tube we will combine up to 10 posters together in one package at no additional cost to you.

If all of your purchases/wins are folded and can be shipped folded in a flat package we will combine up to 20 posters together in one package at no additional cost to you.

Sometimes it is possible to ship folded and rolled posters together in one package by rolling the folded ones and shipping them all in one tube.....but sometimes it isn't possible to do this. Sometimes we can't roll a folded poster. If this is the case then we must split your wins/purchases into two separate packages and you will be charged for a second shipment.

All wins/purchases must be paid for within 7 days. If you would like us to wait for you to accumulate several posters and have them shipped all together so you can save on shipping, please send us a separate email containing your name, your ebay id, and ebay listing number(s) and we will hold your items until you tell us to ship them. HOW WE PACKAGE OUR POSTERS

We take extra special care when we package your items. For folded posters, we put them in a plastic bag or envelope and in between two or four pieces of STRONG cardboard and tape it together before placing in the shipping envelope/box. We stamp “DO NOT BEND” all over the outside of the package. For rolled posters we put them in a STRONG 3” or greater diameter tube with thick walls at least 3/16” or 1/4" or thicker. We roll the poster into a smaller diameter than the tube. This is VERY IMPORTANT because it gives the edges strength and helps to prevent them from getting wrinkled. We then wrap with paper or plastic and tape it closed and put soft cushioning material (also very important!) on the ends to prevent them from getting damaged. We stamp “FRAGILE: DO NOT BEND” all over the outside of the package.

EUROPEAN CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ

To protect ourselves, we insure expensive items for the FULL AMOUNT. Import Duties for the European Union apply to any item bought overseas whether or not we list it as a gift on the shipping manifest. In the UK for example, they apply to any gift over £35 and to any item that is not a gift over £18. These costs can be quite substantial and include a Value added Tax and a Parcel Force Clearance Fee. These combined charges can add up to 25% or more to your final cost. For other European countries the charges will differ. Please check with your postal system on their procedure for packages from overseas so you are not unpleasantly surprised.
