With the continued success of the original White Box StoveTM you may be asking why are we building a smaller version of the most successful homemade stove ever sold on eBay. The answer is simple. We have had a lot of requests from customers asking for a stove that is designed solely with the "SOLO" hiker in mind. A stove that will work adequately with smaller cook pots in the 4+ INCH and larger diameters. A stove that will boil just enough water for the "SOLO" backpacker. And a stove that is DEPENDABLE and STRONG enough to endure the hardships of the back country and last a lifetime on the trail yet is SMALL enough and LIGHT enough that you don't even know it's in your pack.

THE NEW WHITE BOX "SOLO" STOVETM ADEQUATELY FILLS THOSE REQUESTS.
This newly designed stove has a smaller flame ring than the original White Box StoveTM to accommodate smaller sized pots so the flames won't lap up the sides. The "SOLO" stove will work with pots like the MSR TITAN KETTLE, SNOW PEAK TREK 900, EVERNEW 900, FIRELITE 900, VARGO .9L KETTLE and most larger sized pots.

Independent test results have shown the "SOLO" will boil up to 3 cups of cold water in approximately 10 minutes on one fill of fuel and continue to burn for a total of about 14 minutes. Field testers have used the "SOLO" and boiled 2 cups of icy cold water in less than 7 minutes with temperatures hovering in the upper 20s. Unlike similar built stoves you can find on eBay, when properly heated, this stove will not go out after you put a pot of icy cold water on it.
 
THE RECOMMENDED FUEL FOR THE "SOLO" IS GAS-LINE HEET IN THE YELLOW BOTTLE. (METHYL ALCOHOL)

The "SOLO" stove weighs in at about one ounce, stands less than 1.5/8" tall and holds about 1.25 ounces of fuel. The "SOLO" is made from the same heavy duty aluminum bottles that our original WHITE BOX STOVETM is made from. It has been tested to withstand more than 400 pounds of weight placed on top of it. There is no other aluminum bottle stove as durable as the WHITE BOX "SOLO"TM.

This stove also incorporates a "Cope RollTM"  that seals the two walls of the stove so they will never separate. Another stove maker on eBay has stated that the "Cope RollTM" will leak. Don't believe them. They are just bad mouthing a product that is far superior to the one they make. Let me explain why the "Cope RollTM" has never leaked. If you look at this stove, and also the original White Box StoveTM, you will notice that the burner holes are drilled below the seal in the exterior wall. There is no way possible for the seal to leak because, first of all, the fuel level never gets up to the height of the seal and, second of all, with all the burners holes drilled in the stove it doesn't build up enough pressure to cause a leak. The only possible way for this seal to leak is if the top edge of the stove wall was damaged and crushed. If that were to happen, because the seal forms an inward roll, the only place the fuel could go is inside the stove where it would be captured and burned. Beware of other stove makers that make false statements and bad mouth their competitor's products. They are only doing it to sell their own poorly made copycat stoves.
