First Item: Haiti Voodoo Soil

In our trip to Haiti we worked with Trois Simbi - a Voodoo master - and learned a lot about the native Haitian magick tradition. Voodoo originated in Africa. Where ever it is practiced you will find regional accents that make it unique. Haiti has a very strong voodoo community. It is a more powerful force than Christianity on the island.

We did a workshop for Simbi's friends and they reciprocated with teaching us much voodoo. Like the wicca tradition voodoo doctors find power in the elements of the cosmos. This voodoo soil was taken at the voodoo encampment that we participated in.

Second Item: Empowered Ocean Water from Salem, Massachusetts

What better water to use for your wiccan rituals than sea water from America's most Sacred Wiccan Location? We brought back from our sojourn to Salem last August 2004 several gallons of cold Atlantic Seawater from Salem Harbor (Pickering Wharf) which is just a few blocks from the Salem Witch Trails Memorial. Before collecting this potent element we raised a circle and asked for the blessing of the Goddess. We prayed that this symbol of her power always be used in accordance with the Rede.

Third Item: Raven Feather

If you are looking for a magick wand or symbol of air elemental, a raven feather is truly awesome. The tradition of ravens in Wicca is a long one. Respect it and be part of it.

We see so many dyed chicken feathers from commercial chicken slaughter houses on ebay that we feel embarrassed for the wiccan ebay community. Talk about a worthless article. Our raven feathers are from Ely. Our Ely ravens are like the English ravens - very large. Most of the USA only has small black birds, but Ely has big black, beautiful ravens.

We have a limited supply and this kit only includes one feather.

Our raven feathers do not involve hunting or killing our brother raven. We take very seriously the charge of "do no harm."

Fifth Item: Rare & Empowered Druid Soil from Stonehenge, England

What better soil to use for your wiccan rituals than soil from England's most Scared Wiccan Location? We brought back from our pilgrimage to Stonehenge last April 2004 several pints of the clay soil from Stonehenge. We were able to fill a few plastic bags about 200 feet from the stones. This was not the easiest task to accomplish without getting noticed, but it was worth it for our Craft. Stonehenge is one of the longest used religious sites in the world. As long as 10,000 years ago humans erected religious structures. The large rock structures were built by pre-druids about 3700 years ago. It was used by many Earth based religions during its history. No doubt Iron Age Druids also held Stonehenge sacred. Celtic Magick is an olde tradition that is still potent today.

Sixth Item: Loch Ness Water from Scotland

Ancient Religions and Magick seem to always take hold in rugged land and that is what Scotland is. Hard rock, cold water, dark skies is what you find in Scotland. It is a beautiful land, but also a harsh land. People had to be strong to survive and the Druids were a strong people. Stonehenge is a testament to that strength. Just as powerful and mysterious as Stonehenge is Loch Ness. Even today it holds its mysteries.

When we have used Loch Ness Water in our magick we have found it has unpredictable ways of enriching the outcome of the spell or charm. We suggest you use it when you are not stone sure as to what you want out of a spell.

Seventh Item: Cedar Leaves from the Cedars of Lebanon

The ancients from Judah to Greece wrote about the Cedars of Lebanon - a life force that empowered ancient civilizations. They allowed navies to flourish and the history of man to grow out from this important area of the world.

This tree has been beloved by humans for many ages. Ancient residents of Tyre, Byblos, and Sidon built their houses and ships from this tree, and the Egyptians used it for sarcophagi and the ceremonial barge of the Sun-god Amun-Ra. In Ur, Mesopotamia (now Iraq), this tree was connected with a local mother goddess, but when the idol-maker Abraham left Ur and planted a grove sacred to YHVH, the seeds he planted were these. King Solomon built the Temple from this wood, and asherahs, goddess figures that were "illegally" displayed in Hebrew temples all over the ancient lands of Israel and Judea, were made from this wood (it is said that while Solomon's Temple stood, the Sun and Moon shone with equal light, representing the equality of masculine and feminine spirituality).

The Hebrew Bible designated this Sun plant as the king of trees. The cedar of Lebanon was also associated with Baal, who is often depicted holding this tree and whom some consider the equivalent of the storm aspect of Set. The wood was much used by the Phoenicians and ancient Greeks (who saw in it a symbol of Persephone's time in the Underworld). Now you can use Lebanese cedar for your destiny.

Eighth Item: Water from the Sea of China

Hai Re is the god of the sea. Matsu is the Taoist Goddess of the Sea who protects fishermen and sailors. The Chinese have for longer than most other civilizations realized the power of nature. At the age of 28, when she climbed a mountain alone and flew to heaven and became a goddess.

Much of her popularity in comparison to other sea deities resulted from her role as a compassionate motherly protector, completely different from authoritarian father figures like the Dragon Kings. She is usually depicted with black skin, wearing a red robe, and sitting on a grass mat.

Ninth Item: Mississippi River Water

From the source in northern Minnesota. The Mississippi River is the heart and soul of this country. It is as important today as it was for the Indians thousands of years ago. It should rank up in our American Wicca symbols as any other great river in the world. We did not need a passport to fetch this water, it came from the source by Lake Itasca. It is as pure a sample as you will find.
