When shooting under natural light, a fluorescent filter dramatically increases color saturation of subjects such as sunrises and sunsets. Provides correct color, removing harsh cast Caused by artificial or florescent lighting. Florescent bulbs do flash and throw of the white shades but you can eliminate that with an FL filter. Recommended Use: Use this filter anytime you feel you're getting yellow or off white color, when shooting indoors rather than getting white. It counteracts the effects florescent light bulbs cause.

You turn the filter around till you cut out the glare disturbing your picture. Recommended Use: Place on Camera when trying to shoot objects behind glass. (A store front) Ever go away and take a picture of your feet just beneath the clear ocean water, then get home and look at the print to find out you have a solid green shot of the color. With a Polarizer on you would first equalize the color tones and then cut right through that glare and whoa your feet!! Fish observed from above the water would be more visible when shooting with the polarizing filter.
