William Seltzer Rice: original blockprint on fine white wove Japan paper: signed in pencil lower right - " W.S. Rice ": Titled by the artist in pencil lower left - " Vermont Maple Sugar Camp ": circa 1920: image/block size ( approx. 12 1/4 x 9 3/4 inches ( 31 x 25cm ): framed.

A truly exceptional example of a work by W.S. Rice that rarely appears on the market.

NOTE: This work is in excellent condition: a bold sharp impression with fine inking: sheet not glued or laid down: sheet hinged at top: archival mat and archival frame backing: full original margins ( sheet size is 13 1/4 x 11 inches ( 33.7 x 28cm ): The work is framed in a fine custom painted and textured polished hardwood frame: glass has been replaced with new museum Grade UV protective plexiglas: frame size is 23 1/4 x 21 inches. ( frame and mat shape distortion is from my camera lens only: both are even and square in the original ).
