Ancient icons of Ashanti wisdom, three of the legendary Adinkra symbols embellish this ceramic centerpiece. Gyawu-Atiko has a coil-like shape and symbolizes valor, while two crossed swords are known as Akofena and represent authority and gallantry. Nkonsonkonson is the symbol of unity and human relations. Matilda Elizabeth Amissah crafts this piece by hand, framing her creation with a tightly woven rattan border.
