I am pleased to offer for sale this WONDERFUL EARLY THREE DOOR OAK ICE BOX MADE BY ROCKFORD. The Rockford co. started in 1890 in Rockford, Il. and is still in busy today. This FANTASTIC ice box is in EXCELLENT condition. It measures 47 1/2" tall by 17" wide by 32" long. The large door is 36" long by 12" wide. The second largest door is 24" long by 12" wide and the small door is 11" long by 12" wide. There are two of the original racks in the large part. The only thing missing is the hardware for the large door. I have a lock set that I will send however I don't think that it is the correct one. I would think finding a lock set would be easy enough knowing that the company is still in business. I have taken pictures from all sides and inside. This ice box is a real BEAUTY. The oak is a wonderful golden color and you can see how GREAT it looks on my oak floors. This is an OUTSTANDING early ice box that would certainly be a fine addition to any collection.Please check my pictures and feel free to email me if you have any questions. Check out my other items!
