GREAT WOOD PATCHES 1" SQUARE FOR VIOLIN, VIOLA  CELLO REPAIRS

Sold by the LOT OF 25  ! I'm selling some of these unique  1"  square BY 1/8" thick wood  patches to help you to easily repair cracks. You can remove the  cracked front or back of your violin, viola or cello and glue these patches.  It is important to match the patch to the size of crack.   Check my store out for different sized patches.   In this way it will help to reduce any change to the sound of your instrument. 

  You can also drill a tiny hole  through the   crack and a fish- wire is inserted through the the "f" hole where a strong string is attached to a small patch of laminated wood. Glue is applied to the patch which is drawn by means of the wire and string, through the f hole, to the underside of the crack where it is held taut until the glue has dried.   You can fashion a snubber out of a violin peg  and a couple of pieces of scrap wood.  The peg is turned therefor tightening the attached string.  The string is then cut flush to the outside and the hole is retouched.
