THIS IS FINISHED ON ALL 4 SIDES AND CAN SIT OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF A KITCHEN AREA.......If you have a home with the early nice primative cupboards or corner cabinets or an early 1800's home people are scooping up these old work benches and using them for kitchen islands.  They are great to use for this purpose.  This piece is very heavy with an approx. 2 inch thick solid maple top.  This has been used over the years and does show wear.  Please see photo's.  Some people do use these for chopping blocks even today.  THIS ALSO HAS LOTS OF SPACE WITH 7 DRAWERS TO STORE THOSE KITCHEN ITEMS OF CHOICE.  Nice paneling on the sides and back, see photo's.  Yes the vice comes with it.  The top is 62 3/4 x 24 1/2 inches and stands 32 1/4 inches tall.  The large top drawer is 37 wide x 17 1/2 front to back and is 4 inches deep.  The lower 6 drawers are 17 1/2 wide x 17 1/2 front to back and are 4 1/2 inches deep.
