Hieroglyphic Turtle Hatchling Taxidermy Mount

ITEM  DESCRIPTION:

Just to be very clear: These turtles are NOT alive.  They are preserved Taxidermy Mounts, not pets.

Real, Freeze-dried taxidermy mount of a Hieroglyphic Turtle.  These are in the Cooter group.

Shell length runs about 1.5 inches in a standard hatchling, but this little guy is only 7/8 of an inch in shell length.

This may be the world's smallest highback.  It is very unusualy and I've never seen one even close to this size before.

Nice piece for your dime museum.  Both turtles will be included so you can show a comparison to a standard hatchling.
