DETAILS: This is an incredible dress! I've never seen one like it anywhere. From the late 1930's or early 1940's. Fabulous rayon (crepe?) with an amazing deer print! There are does & bucks - some with horns, some without. It's really unusual and will certainly be a conversation starter! This print of the deer is in various shades of brown on a beige background.
The dress has a higher neckline that buttons off the left hand shoulder with 4 clear, faceted glass buttons. Very short doleman sleeves. Tailored bodice and fitted waist. The seams at the waist are diagonal and run down the left side where flat pleats start at 2 different levels. Sort of confusing - see pics. A very unusual and elegant detail. Closes with side snaps.
