This is an early one : and a fantastic list of some all time greats, up and coming soon to be icons, and some that had that one hit and drifted away:
Week of January 16, 1969. Issue #96.
On the cover is the WRKO Ski Party.
At the time, WRKO was an influential AM hit-maker radio station. They did not add many new records, it had a super tight format, and hard for the record labels to crack.  At this time they were listing the Top 30 hit 45 RPM singles and Hitbound Singles.
Now's the chance to transport back to that moment in time transister sisters and tubular AM dial cats.

* #25,  from Jimmy James & The Vagabonds with Red Red Wine
* just cracking the chart for the first time at No 30 is Dorsey Burnette, with his single from HitBound titled The Greatest Love on Liberty Records.

The WRKO Chart is in Vintage Near Mint or better Condition :
There are no pin holes, no scotch tape, no rips, no tears, no creases, no writing. This rare radio station chart has the patina of age and slight handling, it's part of its' history and part of its' charm.
The Chart flips opens.  When closed, it is approximately 3&1/4" inches across x 5" inches high.
It has been stored for over 40 years in my WASS, The Warehouse of the Aisles of Sight & Sound.
 
It's a hard to find Radio Chart, not a reprint, not a current re-issue.

Yes, the on-line image of the chart looks great, but it does not do justice to the excitement of actually holding this WRKO chart and the moment in history in your hands.
