Description

This auction is for a canvas Cavalry horse feed bag. It's clearly marked "ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL" and "1916" which is a little smudged. Inside is also stamped "M" (pictured) which maybe is the size, medium? The bag has all straps including a very nice leather strap that are in like new condition. This WW1 item was probably issued all the way until WW2 when the horse cavalry faded into the sun set! It would be hard to improve on this item for your Cav collection!
