Zeiss made 7 x 50 U boat binoculars, serial No. 61448.

Still producing bright and clear images these WW11 binoculars show some areas of paint loss to the body, the rubber coverings are all in place, the ocular ones are in excellent shape however the objective ones are showing signs of there age.

Optically the oculars are very good with only some signs of light cleaning marks evident. The objective lens surfaces are excellent with hardly a hint of cleaning marks and no obvious scratching, there is however some separation to the edges of the right lens.

Internally they are very good, but would of course, after all this time benifit from cleaning. The left prisms appear in great undamaged shape, the right ones may have a small defect, although it may be a speck of dirt I can see.
