Correctly impressed to 8942 PTE. W. LANDYMORE. 1/DEVON.R.

Online records confirm title of the same Walter Landymore to this medal and the two others - whereabouts not known.  Date of entry into theatre of war 22 August 1914 - very early.

The bar or clasp denotes duty under fire during the early period.  The rose was awarded with the medal and clasp and was to be displayed on the medal ribbon bar.  An added bonus that it has been added to the ribbon here.

Ribbon in very poor condition.

No other details or papers held.
