This auction is for a silk/satin pillow cover case sent home by a serviceman in the Army to his Wife. The picture and writing on this case is a flocked short of application. Has blue fringe all around the cover. The poem reads WIFE--A darling little wife has made my dreams come true. She blesses all my life Her name is ony You. You are my partner sweet You share in all I do And make my joy complete by simply being you! This case/cover is from Camp Fannin in Texas. The Army logo is on the bottom. The flocking is in excellent condition with only a little missing where the pillow was folded. It does not take away from this gorgeous souvenir. The cover itself is also in excellent condition. No damage, minimal missing flocking. It has dark blue fringe with yellow ribbon all around it and the backing is a teal blue. Opening on the bottom to insert a pillow.
