WWII ERA REGIONAL AERONAUTICAL CHARTS - ONLY A FEW LEFT

These are WWII Era Regional Aeronautical Charts from various parts of the United States.

This above map insert shows the "Active Air Defense Zone" that existed in the New York area during WWII.  There is only one of each map - click "Here" to see what's still available.

Because of precautions taken during WWII many maps had sensitive areas in them and weren't available for general aviation use.

The notice shown on the right appears on many of the sectionals I'm selling.

The WWII era Regional Aeronautical Charts originally sold for 40 cents each during the early 1940s.  Today's equivalent map (WAC charts) sell for about $7.50)

The area depicted by a particular Regional Aeronautical chart is shown in the bottom right hand corner of the map.

All of the charts are in fairly good condition - occasionally there's a dog ear or a small waters stain on an edge or corner of the map, but all charts can be opened and closed without damaging then.

These charts look great under the glass top of a desk or hung in a frame on the wall.
