 I don't know when this photograph was taken. This photograph is 8" x 10" It's in very good condition. It is inscribed: "To S.K. Day from an old shipmate. J.O. Richardson." I believe that the photo is of James Otto Richardson, who was an Admiral in the US Navy. He served as the Executive Officer for the battleship Nevada from 1917-1919. He held the position of Commander in Chief, US Pacific Fleet during Pearl Harbor. He appeared on the cover of Time Magazine on July 1, 1940.
