Up for consideration is this very nice Wagner Cast Iron No 3 Oval Dutch Oven Roaster w baster cover.  This roaster was advertised as being "The correct shape for Roast and Fowl".  This item was made ca 1941.  The Dutch Oven sits flat with no wobbling and the cover fits securely.  It has been lightly oiled to prevent any rusting.   Neither Dutch Oven nor cover have cracks, breaks or rusting...  Over all this is one very nice Cast Iron Roaster !!!   The bottom of the dutch oven bears the markings "Wagner Ware Sidney -0- Oval Roaster 3".  The bottom of the cover bears the markings "patented Dec., 4-17. Mch., 8-21. Mch., 14-22   3" and the top of the cover "Wagner Drip Drop Baster".  The dutch oven measures approx 3 3/4" deep x 14 1/4" long handle to handle (12 1/4" inside) x 8" wide.  The pictures are of the exact item you are considering.  The items have been lightly oiled to help prevent any rusting.  g205e9579  Any questions please feel free to ask or contact us at the #'s listed above.
