I got really carried away w buying a lot of doll making supplies when I took a weekend class at a Waldorf school!! Here are kits for 6 dolls which have not been used. These were all purchased from the fabulous doll making teacher named Truth from central California who gave classes at many Waldorf schools, especially in the Santa Rosa area. When put together these dolls are scrumptious and I have sold mine for auction at high value and of course have given some away to very happy kids!! Pictured are all of the kits together as well as a group shot of the clothes. I took a pic of the pieces of one of the mermaid kits and also a pic of the pieces for one of the non-mermaids. The doll's hair is folded into a large knot to be untied when you attach it to the doll head. The hair will be long but could be cut for a shorter look on a girl doll or for a boy doll. For the most part I got doubles on the hair because I loved the look of a doll w thick, long hair. These kits were around $25 each w the mermaids being around $30 each plus I paid extra for each clothing set which were made by dollmakers in Ca. and I think they were about $10/set; so altogether I paid close to $200.
The kits each have:
1) hair - both head cap & hair to stitch to cap
2) pre-stitched base for head and upper body
3) body parts
4) stuffing
They are:
1) red haired mermaid doll kit w green glittery tail
2) light skinned doll w brown hair
3) light skinned doll w red hair
4) brown skinned doll w black hair
5) light skinned doll w auburn hair
6) red haired mermaid w blue glittery tail

The outfits ( for non mermaids ) are:
1) Tiny print flowered dress on cream background w pantaloons
2) Tiny print flowered dress on blue background w pantaloons
3) Medium print flowered dress in blue lavendar w pantaloons
4) Checked top and green velour pants for boy or girl doll
5) Plaid top and brown corduroy pants for boy or girl doll

I am also including a kit for a 7th doll which has pieces for everything but the cloth arms, which, if you know how to make dolls, is an easy
piece to make.

The packaged box will not be heavy but it will be large. Shipping to the U.S. only please! Thank you!

A: I took a 5 hour class to learn how to make Waldorf styled dolls and did not receive written instructions. I would not recommend trying to make this type of doll w/o experience or someone who was going to teach you how to do... Continue reading

 Q: are the bodies pre sewn?
A: Yes, you must just stuff. Also, I stuffed mine quite a bit as I found fabric to be a bit stretchy and didn't want any wrinkles on my dolls.

A: Hi! The mermaid's tail alone is 9 1/2" to end of fins and it looks really cute when the tail starts at the dolls hip. Otherwise, the dolls are about 14-16" long when completed. Thanks!
