Wallace China Rod's Steak House Plate Grand Canyon

Wallace China restaurant ware, Westward Ho, and western collectors!!! We are offering a very nice bread plate from Rod's Steak House in Williams, Arizona on Historic Route 66 and Gateway to the Grand Canyon.

Rod's Steak house opened in 1946. Rod became a cattle rancher in 1955 and used the MJ BAR brand that you see on the Hereford in the center of the plate. The brand was a used as a decoration all over the restaurant, menus and restaurant ware which was made exclusively by Wallace China - Los Angeles California.

This plate is 6 and 3/4/ inches in diameter, is in excellent condition and shows very light scratching that is only evident when you hold it up to the light. No chips, cracks or crazing. The bottom is in excellent and shows very slight wear. Being that it was a bread plate it never suffered from the use of utensils.

This great piece of Route 66 history would be great addition to your Wallace China restaurant ware collection and your western decor.
