I have purchased a whole box full of painting instructions from a yard sale.  These were all from the same household.  They are all in approximately the same shape.  i would say good and very useable.  I looked through all of them and for the most part, pages are clean and stapling(binding ) is very intact.  Might have some sticker residue or paper missing where a sticker price was. slight corner bend , minor stains of paint. Very nice vintage painting books.
