3-DOOR WALNUT WARDROBE or ARMOIRE

is a perfect size for American Girl dolls. There are three doors. The first door on the left opens up to shelves creating 4 little cubbyholes for shoes and accessory items. The right two doors open to a space for hanging clothes with a nice wooden rod. The dowel is 1/2 inch in diameter and the floor inside is 14-3/4 from the top of the dowel. Shoes can also be stored on the floor of the wardrobe.

This wardrobe sold regularly in my brick-and-mortar store for $99.99--as many as I could make room for each Christmas season! Read about my relocation in my custom pages, which are found under the category list on the homepage of my ebay store.

This wardrobe is made of hard WOOD stained Walnut (probably oak). Beware of doll furniture items made of pine. It is a soft wood that breaks or wears away easily. That is a real problem wherever there is a hinge or joint. Those pieces of doll furniture are NOT HEIRLOOM QUALITY! On the other hand, the wood used to build this cabinet is VERY strong and hard. This is a SUPER item for any doll of the American Girls Collection.

Dimensions are 20-1/4 inches tall overall x 17 wide x 8-1/2 inches deep. LOTS of things can fit inside to save you LOADS on shipping!

This wardrobe will work best with hangers with a shorter neck, like the heart hangers sold in my store (but NOT the 5-inch small plastic hangers because the rod is too thick). My heart hangers sell for $8.99 per dozen and look like the ones sold by Mattel/American Girl for 3 for $10 + shipping. And there are lots of other items I can save you money on!
