Q. I've won the auction! What happens next?
A. A representative of Kompolt will contact the winning bidder via email or phone to congratulate him or her as well as confirm the payment amount and payment instructions. Payment must be in U.S. funds only and received within three (3) business days of the close of the auction.

Q. How may I pay for my Warren Buffett experience?
A. We accept the following methods of payment: cashier's check and wire transfer. A cashier's check must be payable to “Glide Foundation” in US funds only and shipped directly to Glide via one of the following traceable sources: Federal Express, Airborne Express, and UPS. Sorry, no personal checks.

Q. Is there sales tax?
A. No. Sales tax will not be charged.
 
Q. Will a receipt be provided?
A. Yes, a receipt for the final bid amount paid will be provided by the Glide Foundation for your tax records.

Q. Is my payment tax deductible?
A. Payment to the Glide Foundation for this Warren Buffett Lunch experience is considered a charitable contribution and may be tax deductible. Please consult with your tax advisor for additional information.

Q: When can I expect to receive my experience information?
A: Barring unanticipated circumstances, the expected delivery time is 7-10 business days after final payment is received and acknowledged.

The winning bidder agrees, warrants and represents that you will not in any way advertise, promote, market or, utilize Warren Buffett’s or the Glide Foundation’s name, likeness, voice, photograph, signature, logo or image in any manner, for any reason at any time without the prior written consent of Warren Buffett or the Glide Foundation. 

Terms & Conditions:

• All bidders agree to accept the terms and conditions of the auction.
• All bidders must be Pre-Qualified by Kompolt.
• All bidders must successfully place a ‘test’ bid with Kompolt’s assistance prior to bidding on the auction
• Promotion or attempt to sell any part of the lunch experience for personal or company profit is not permitted.
• The Glide Foundation will receive 100% of the winning bid for this experience. The winning bidder will receive, in exchange for payment of the full bid price to the Glide Foundation, a lunch experience with Warren Buffett and up to 7 of their friends at Smith & Wollensky Restaurant in New York at a mutually agreed time and date to be determined by Mr. Buffett and the winning bidder.
• Details of the lunch experience location, date, time and expense are to be arranged between Warren Buffett and the winning bidder. The Glide Foundation is not responsible for any arrangements on location or expense of the lunch experience.
• Winning bidder is responsible for transportation to and from the lunch experience location.  Lodging and transportation are not included and are the sole responsibility of the winning bidder.
• The winning bid is a charitable contribution to a 501 (c)(3) organization and may be tax deductible. Bidders are advised to check with their tax advisor.
• All bids must be paid in US dollars.
• This auction does not include any items or services that are not detailed above.
• Please note that shill bidding is neither allowed nor tolerated. This practice is illegal and carries legal consequences in many areas.
