Someone brought this unusual souvenir back from England. It's a DUCK HANDLED SPOON...a reproduction from the Roman period (AD350-450). The spoon is named for the bird head terminal on the handle. It has a monogram cross engraved in the center of the bowl...an early Christian symbol. The spoon measures 4 1/4 inches long. It's made of fine English pewter and comes in its original box. Never used.
