Dehydrated Grains --Rehydrate to make about 1/3 cup fresh grains

You will receive dehydrated water kefir grains ready to produce a delicious and healthy carbonated drink. The grains will rehydrate and start growing in just 1-2 days. After 48 hours you will be drinking your first water kefir beverage. If you enjoy Kombucha, you will love Water Kefir!

 

When I first received my water kefir grains I loved the carbonated juice they produced, but the grains did not grow and thrive. They began to shrink, and the organisms got out of balance. I searched the Internet and once I discovered the secret to growing healthy water kefir, my culture started growing and doubling every 2 days. I have dried the culture for safe and economical mailing. 

 

The picture below shows the fermenting grains in solution, white color active kefir grains and the golden dehydrated crystals. You will receive about dehydrated crystals that will rehydrate to about 1/3 cup.

 

 

The dried grains resemble golden crystals, but don’t be concerned because they quickly begin to grow once you put them in mineral water with sugar and/or juice. The probiotic organisms eat the sugar and produce healthy bacteria and yeast that are especially valuable for those who have been taking antibiotics or have reduced immunity.

 

You will receive about 9 grams of dry grains (1 Tbsp). This represents about about 1/3 cup of fresh rehydrated grains. Once they are put in water, they rehydrate and immediately begin producing kefir and growing, so soon you will have more grains than you know what to do with. For best results, please use my recipe to rehydrate your grains.

 

In addition, you will receive by EMAIL instructions on how to successfully grow kefir grains and links to websites with access to numerous recipes and ideas for using your grains. (These sites are not my own, but I have found them helpful in my research.)

 

Note: Because the water kefir ferments the sugar in the solution, a small amount of alcohol is produced. But if you purchase this with the intent of producing an inexpensive substitute for wine or other alcoholic beverage, you will be disappointed.

 

The dried culture comes by mail with my guarantee that it is viable. If your culture fails to grow and produce kefir beverage, I will send you a fresh culture. (This is not a lifetime guarantee.)
