Strong die cast stainless steel, weather resistant stainless steel housing.   Case and Back are all tamper proof; in case of tampering (the case is opened or removed from the wall), the unit will emit an alarm electrical signal to optional attached bell/chime/siren or strobe device to warn about tampering by an intruder.  The siren time can be programmed to last 0 to 9 minutes.

The following is specifications for the electric deadbolt included in this listing:

BRAND NEW door electric deadbolt / strike with NC (Normally Closed / Fail Safe) function.  It also has a monitoring function.  This function will send a signal to your access control unit (such as this or ) to inform the unit about the status of the deadbolt, whether it is in "close" or "open" position.  Please note that your access control unit must have this monitoring function to be able to utilize this function.  Our fingerprint module (click this icon  or to buy it) does have this monitoring     function.

Cable connection instruction:

1. Black cable: Connects the black cable to ground of your intelligent power supply.

2. Red cable: Connects the red able to NC terminal of your intelligent power supply.

3. Twisted black and red cable connects to the external LED.

3. White cables: connect one of the white cable to ground or "COM" port of your access controller such as or

 Connect the other white cable to the signal port of your access controller.  In the case of this controller, you connect to "SEN" port ("SEN" means sensor).  In the case of this controller, you connect to JP9 and JP10 (Jumper 9 and 10) .

Hence, when the strike/deadbolt is ready to use, you are able to remotely monitor the "close" or "open" status of your door from your desktop computer (assuming your access controller has networking function and is connected to a network).

Also included in the package is a ONE (1) new good quality RFID Access Controller.
