A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.
Once she opens the box, she'll find this little frame, all goldtoned & sparkly
with contrasting polished and matte surfaces and the phrase,
"Mother to The BEst mom*"
Why the asterisk?
It has nothing to do with 61*, but it still gives me
pause. If you know what I mean by 61*, I'll give you $1 off your order.
The whole package, shown above includes the as yet unbroken plastic sleeve,
the foam packed box and Motherly picture frame with a nice Waterbury movement
that ran out of battery power at 3:33.
So the picture frame is roughly 1 1/4 by 1 3/4 inches and will have to be pretty
close to that size to fit under the glass. The rounded corners are also cut into
the photo recess behind.
Let me just point out the tiny specks of corrosion around the O in Mother and
state for the record that they went away with a little naval jelly. The white
specks on the box are inked over so they don't show, but any real inspection
will reveal the box speckle hoax.
I don't know if the watch works, but the battery is still inside and can be
replaced easily.
It requires a Silver Oxide SR 626 SW battery, also called
377 and SR 66.
I'll take it back if you don't like it and that's a fact. I say 7 days because I'd like to get it over with ASAP, but whatever it takes is usually fine. Also, if it's smashed to bits (it has happened), you can keep it, but you have to promise on a stack of buckwheat pancakes that it's really been destroyed and you're not just trying to rip off a fellow human being for your own personal profit. (The FSM is watching YOU and will smite you with a noodly tentacle!) CARBO DIEM!
