Today’s auction is one of my unique Hand Block Hand Felted hat.   I first start with a 100% Dark Blue Wool Felt hat body and stretch over one of my wooden blocks.  This hat is a perch hat. This hat perches the hat, so hat sizes really aren’t important with this hat. All you need is a desire to be unique.   Some ladies might need an extra bit of hat security, so I have included one of my hand made wood felt hat pins!!   The most unique feature to this hat is my hand felted merino wool fiber puffs.   Felting is a wonderful technique involving repeated piercing of the loose fiber with barbed needles called felting needles into solid form. The crown is embellished with leather rope.  Each hat is steamed cleaned and wrapped in plastic to ensure a fresh and sanitary hat.  This hat is available in other colors. My Hat Return Policy: Returns are not accepted on hats.   I am a stickler about hat hygiene.  Hats that have been placed on one's head may not be returned;  I will gladly accept hats that need alterations or reshaping.  That is why it is imperative that you ask questions prior to bidding,  that will avoid fitting, structural and style problems.
