You are bidding on this gorgeous Green Jasperware Creamer Pitcher made in England by Wedgwood. I believe that this pattern may be called “sacrifice figures’ from the mid 1960’s.

This is a delightful traditional, medium-sized, light green upright pitcher, decorated with various sacrifice figures, acanthus trees, and grapevine banding. The twisted-rope handle is decorated with wreaths of acanthus leaves at the two attachment points.

This small pitcher or creamer is 4 ½” tall with fully glaze white interior and so is functional as well as decorative. There are no external flaws, chips or stratches and the white relief appears to be intact, no missing bits or any cracks.

The base is marked Wedgwood, Made in England, U or H? (the potter's mark) it is also marked 36 I believe for the size. This is a beautiful creamer to add to any Wedgwood Collection you may have already.
