This is a genuine Wedgewood of Etruruia & Barlaston Williamsburg Commemorative Ware Plate entitled "Williamburg, Virginia.
Printed on the back is the following:

"WILLIAMSBURG, VIRGINIA
The Governor's Palace was the center of social life in
Williamsburg, eighteenth-century capital of the British
crown colony of Virginia.  Here lived seven royal
governors and the first two governors of the Common-
wealth of Virginia.

The border shows:  the Capitol and Governor's Palace at
Williamsburg; the ships which brought the colonists to
Jamestown in 1607; the old church tower at Jamestown;
the Moore House at Yorktown where Articles of
Capitulation were drafted;  Washington firing the first
cannon at the siege of Yorktown."

This plate is in excellent, MINT condition.  The colors are exquisite...the scanner doesn't quite capture the beautiful artwork.
