Welsh & Bros Sterling Repousse 21ozt Plate Vine Handles

This is a nice Sterling Oval Plate with repousse floral pattern and Grape Vine Handles. Marked Welsh & Bros., Sterling, my research tells me they were a maker or store in Baltimore, Maryland circa 1880. Handle to Handle the width is 14.5", plate size 11.5" X 8.25" and it weighs 21.88 troy ounces. Free Shipping!! Please ask all questions before bidding. We have 40 dealers and 100s of pieces of furniture from antique to pre-owned. We are located in 10,000 square foot showroom at 326 S Braddock St in historic downtown Winchester, Virginia. The building is Art Deco design and was a New Car Showroom from 1928 until 1978. All the pieces we have listed on Ebay are in our showroom, open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call us at 540-535-1570 to set up a special viewing outside of our regular hours. We are as far north as you can go on I-81 in Virginia. When we list a piece on Ebay, there is always the possibility that it will sell in our shop before the auction ends. If the item does not have a bid or has not met reserve or has not been purchased with "buy it now", we reserve the right make the sale in the shop and cancel the auction, even though bids (in a reserve auction) may have been made. If you are serious about a piece, it is important that you place your maximum bid early or use the "buy it now", to insure that you won't miss out on a opportunity to have the piece due to a sale in the shop. Many of the Henkel Harris pieces I list are no longer made.

Henkel-Harris

Henkel-Harris may be the best furniture made in America. Henkel-Harris is family owned and operated in Winchester, Virginia and has been in business since 1946. They still do a lot of hand work on each piece, including the hand rubbed finish, a finish that cannot be duplicated outside of the Henkel-Harris factory. Take a tour of the factory and you will be convinced that Henkel-Harris furniture is a worthy investment and will be passed on to future generations. Truly, antiques of the future!

Packing and shipping are the responsibility of the buyer, although we will make every effort to accomadate the packing and shipping companies within reason. They will give you a quote when you call. We can hold your item(s) for upto 30 days at no charge, but you must pay for the item(s)within 7 days of the end of the auction. After 30 days, a $2 a day storage fee will take effect. If you pick up items at our store, you must pay Va. state sales tax of 5%, unless you have a tax resale # and you must have it with you. Once the furniture leaves our store we are not responsible for it or how long it takes to be delivered to your home. We will however assist you with any problems that may arise with a shipper.

Condition

We have been in business since 1989, working hard to keep our customers happy and coming back again and again. We stand behind each piece we sell with a full purchase price return policy, if our description is shown to be incorrect. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and are non-refundable, even return shipping. Please keep in mind that the Henkel-Harris and other furniture we sell is previously owned and not new. There will be the normal wear including minor light scratches and/or scuff marks.
