Westclox style 2 Big Ben alarm clock dated 11-31 (November 1931) on the movement. Solid green painted finish. This clock does run and keep time, but it has not been serviced and needs cleaning.
These solid color finish style 2 Big Bens were made from 1930 to 1932. They were available in blue, green and pink. The numerals on the dial are gold leaf. Notice the special design of skeleton hands that were used with this dial. Even the alarm hand has a special design.
The case of this clock is in poor condition! Much of the paint is gone, the back is rusty, the hands are rusty, and the dial is slightly darkened and has many rust spots. The alarm indicator strips are bad. The base does not have any cracks.
