This book is for moms, dads and others who take care of children. We hope this book helps you keep your children safe and well.

Here are some things to do when you get this book.

• Fill in the phone numbers in the front of this book. Keep this book where it is easy to find.
• Turn to pages vi-x to find out what's in this book.
• Read and follow the safety tips on page 2-8.
• See page v to find out when to call your doctor.
• Read a few pages of this book every day. This will help you know what to do when your child gets sick.
• Take a class in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). This will teach you what to do if your child's breathing or heart ever stops, or if your child chocks. Call your local hospital, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross to find out where you can take this class.
• There is a word list at the end of the book.  It gives the meaning of some words.

This book was read by doctors and nurses trained in caring for children.  The doctors and nurses agree with the information this book. They feel it is safe and helpful.

However, each child is different.  Some things in this book may not be right for your child. Each mom, dad, or person caring for a child must decide when to call the doctor or when to go to the hospital.  If your child is sick and you have doubts, questions, or concerns about advice in this book, call your doctor right away.  Always do what your doctor or nurse says. ...

This book was purchased for research only and has hardly ever been used.  It has pages that have never been touched by human hands since I've owned it.

It is in excellent "LIKE NEW" condition and would make a nice gift or purchase it for your own library.  The book was purchased for research, as many other books were.  This book has been stored in a personal library and is now up for auction. All my books are personally owned unless otherwise stated.

This book is in excellent condition.   It has No noticeable wear on it's cover from being on a shelf.  Some pages want to raise up on the ends.  Not damage, but needs to be listed.
  No marks, No torn and No missing pages. This book is from a personal library.  It was used for research only and some pages have not even been touched.  No stickers or stamps.   It is just a very nice book, in "LIKE NEW" condition INSIDE.
