Well I am back from an auction with fresh coins. I have a lot of Silver coming and I do combine shipping. I have a few rare dates that I may be throwing up here soon including some rare Mercury Dimes and possibly some rare Walking Liberty Quarters so keep an eye out. Up for auction is 1 roll of 50 wheat pennies randomly picked from that hoard of 5000 picture above. Everybody who is a regular at my auctions knows that I hate Wheat pennies. Unless they are already carded or have some kind of major error that can be spotted in a quick glance I have no use for them. I have way to many things to do other then sort through thousands and thousands of pennies, so of course I wind up with a bank bag with 5000+ Wheat pennies in it. UGH!!! Just randomly picking though a hand full of coins I have seen 1909 1914 1924 1927 1935 1944 1955 (many BU) 1958. There are even 1943 steel pennies in this hoard (a quick magnet test sweep over the top pulled out about 20+ and it looks like there are many more buried in it). There are even many BU coins in this lot. So really there could be anything in there. This bag weighs about 40 pounds and I really want it out of my way so I am offering all these randomly picked pennies in rolls of 50 at a very cheap price just to liquidate them. I don't know what is in there, could be a few keys hidden and I don't know what is going into the rolls. I am not even going to roll them until they are purchased and then I am just grabbing handfuls until my counter stops at 50 and rolling them up. Coins will come from the giant hoard pictured. A Great way to find something rare ( I don't know what is in there. There may even be key dates ) and keep the kids busy. Also a great buy for flea market vendors and coin dealers alike. Buy a Roll for less then $5 and sell them all at $1 each. Even $0.25 cents each would more then double your money to $12.50 a roll and a low $0.50 each would be $25 per roll!!! I have seen vendors with piles of wheat pennies selling them for $0.75 to $1 each for wheat pennies! More for BU pennies! I DO COMBINE S&H. A LOW $1.55 for the first roll. $0.50 each additional roll! I am not a coin grader so use the picture and your own judgment and decide for yourself the vale. Sold as is. A nice addition to any collection and a nice gift for the collector. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Check out my other items! Be sure to add me to your favorites list! |
