Show your spectators an ordinary looking pen, with a top hat inside the see through part.  Ask your spectator to choose a card, and then amaze them by turning the pen, where a mini replica of their chosen card drops out of the top hat in the pen!

Pass a pencil through the glass without leaving a hole - Place a playing card in the frame, then use a pencil to pierce both the card and glass, this can then be followed through with a silk scarf or ribbon for extra effect.  The card is removed from the frame, and to everyones amazement, the glass is in perfect condition!! Two Bar Magnets which are shown to be normal in all respects, suddenly go crazy, defying all known laws of science!!   The Magician shows two metallic bars, which look like ordinary magnets. The bars are painted Red at one end, and black at the opposite end. The bars behave just like a pair of magnets would - When opposite colour ends are put together, the bars attract, and when similar coloured ends are put together, the bars repell each other.  The Magician makes a magic pass, and then things start to go haywire - First the same coloured ends attract each other, while the opposite coloured ends repell. Then all the ends attract, whether the same colour or not. Then all the ends repell, whether the same colour or not!   The Magician reverses the magic pass, and everything is back to normal once again, with opposites attracting and same repelling.
