It is then cured, cold smoked with Alder wood, and then sealed in a vacuum-tight pouch. Next it is cooked in steam to capture its true flavor and freshness. Our smoked salmon is the perfect gift for any occasion or celebration.

Petersburg is located in the heart of Southeast Alaska and is ideally situated for buying and processing fresh seafood.

 Tonka Seafoods buys all of our Salmon from local fishermen in Petersburg Alaska who take great pride in the quality of their fish. The fishermen clean and dress each fish within minutes after catching it. The salmon is then packed in ice for transport to our dock. We receive the fish within hours after it has been caught.

We use only the freshest, highest quality wild Alaska Salmon for our smoked fillets. We never use farmed, imported or low quality salmon. We follow the belief that if we wouldn’t serve it to our friends and family we wouldn’t use it in our smokehouse.
