Album notes
"Wild Wild West" was nominated for the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance. Will Smith drops another hit in the title track from the soundtrack of the 1999 summer blockbuster WILD WILD WEST. The song finds Smith operating in an up-tempo dance floor style and features backing vocals from Dru Hill and Kool Moe Dee. "Wild Wild West" also cleverly utilizes a sample from Stevie Wonder. There is plenty of other action on WILD WILD WEST. "Bailamos," from Enrique Iglesias; "Getting Closer," from Tatyana Ali featuring Kel Spencer; and "Confused," from Blackstreet are all winners. Also catch "Bad Guys Always Die," from Dr. Dre and Eminem. WILD WILD WEST also features the return of Guy ("The Best") and Slick Rick ("I Sparkle"). All in all, one of the better soundtracks to come along in a while.
