Wilesco spare engine only from a D20 toy stationary steam engine

A powerful single cylinder double-acting slide valve engine perfect for a custom scratch built project. Lots of potential for a creative mind (ie stationary engine, marine plant, locomotive etc). Like-New Condition. It has not been steam tested so is sold strictly as-is but operates perfectly on low pressure compressed air.

It is a single cylinder double-acting slide valve reversible engine (16mm stroke with 13mm piston diameter) with artificial governor (just for show) connected for a flexible drive belt. Detailed spoked flywheel measures 3.94" diameter mounted on cast metal bearing supports. Twin grooved pulley on the shaft allows the engine to operate additional accessories with a flexible drive belt (not included). Operating pressure approx 10 – 15 lbs PSI. A low pressure Wilesco boiler (see my other listings) could easily be added and connected to the engine with a pressure steam line. Additional spare parts and accessories can be purchased directly from a Wilesco dealer. If you require a reputable source this could be supplied with the engine.
