Presented here for consideration is a Wilkinson Royal Staffordshire Bird of Paradise Float Bowl centre piece. These figural centre pieces are very hard to find and this one is a real beauty with the Bird of Paradise hand painted in realistic colours.

The artist has really caught this piece perfectly; it looks like it is just about to erupt into flight. The base is clearly marked with a green stamped Wilkinson Ltd, mark that was in use from 1907 until 1927.

Dimensions

This magical item stands 17.2 cm (7”) tall and the Bird has a wingspan of 10 cm (4”).

Condition 

It is in EXCELLENT condition with no chips, stains or repairs and NO crazing. There is just a hint of wear to the base of the black stump – nothing at all really – see close up photo below with match as size comparison.

This is a very impressive centre piece, there where not a lot of these and due to there nature there mortality rate is quite high.

These are very hard to come by, I doubt if you will see another one of these again in a hurry – so hit the BUY IT NOW tab and make sure that you cannot miss out.
