Awaiting your bid is one (1), right handed, Wilson Bros. Black Widow Recurve Bow made in Springfield, Mo.. This is one BEAUTIFUL Recurve!  According to the Black Widow Factory, it was an order for a Custom Handle, ordered in 1962 (Dec. 13) for a Hugh Rich. Ordered special with a Brazilian Rosewood Riser and matching Brazilian Rosewood tip Overlays. The Serial number is 6973 (on Limb and pressed into Riser). Black Widow Logo on limb with specs. that read;  66", #6973, 41# @ 28 with Custom Handle designation below Black Widow name. (See Pic). The limbs are straight with no warps, twist, bends, cracks or stress marks. Tip overlays are tight. The finish is by , the one and only...BOWDOC...Prior to applying the finish he repaired two small holes drilled in the limb for sights with white as snow epoxy and for the two small holes in the riser, he used Rosewood plugs from an old Rosewood risered scrap bow. (See Pic)  Good as new. Arrow rest/Strike plate is authenic Black Widow but not original. New tight-twist Bearbowman Flemish string with white accent made with Black and Red Dacron. Bow tip protector included in auction but NOT STRINGER. Stringer is for picture purpose only. Please use Stringer when stringing this, or any, laminated Recurve/Longbow.
