WIND IN THE CHIMNEY, by Cornelia Meigs, c. 1934.  Macmillan hardback, FIRST PRINTING, 144 pages, lots of great interior illustrations by Louise Mansfield. Historical novel set in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during Colonial times; middle grade reading level.  NOT a library copy.  Good USED condition: intact hinges, lightly bumped corners, no inscriptions/writing inside, inside pages are white but outside covers have lots of spotting (see second photo); NO DUSTJACKET. SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS for more old books!
