"Wire Fox Terrier in Pencil" is 7 inch X 9 inch Giclee (print). Giclee (zhee-CLAY) is a French term that means "to spray". The giclee high-resolution reproduction done on a special large format printer. Giclees are produced from digital scans of existing artwork. Giclees are superior to traditional lithography because they use a sophisticated process of eight colors and black. The ink is sprayed onto the page, actually mixing the color on the page to create truer shades and hues.
A friend of mine recently told me "There is always one dog in your life who steals your heart." In her case it was a terrier. This unusual little piece comes float mounted on acid free matboard.
This is a benefit auction for the National Airedale Rescue. Please note the permission letter at the bottom of this listing.
I paint with only the highest quality professional materials. I live on the high plains along the East Front of the Northern Rocky Mountains. I paint with my Welsh Terrier sitting at my feet. He frequently drops a toy at my feet to remind me that "playing with toys" is much more important than painting.
