The Item
We've got this brand new (in box) wireless PCMCIA card here for auction that works with laptops that run Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, and XP. It is also compatible with Macintosh operating systems 10.0 through 10.4, and also 10.5 (Leopard). *But please note that with Leopard the drivers are not on the included CD, they must be downloaded by clicking here and scrolling to the bottom of the page. The item is new in retail box and was distributed only with Windows drivers on the manufacturers CD. As a courtesy to customers, we will also include in the shipment a CD-R which contains a copy of the Mac drivers found on the original manufacturers CD, of which we were able to obtain one copy for this purpose. About this item: this is a not just any standard wireless PCMCIA card. The antenna that is built into it flips upward (as you can see in the picture), and is rotatable virtually 360 degrees (does not quite turn a full circle). It is also a high gain 6 dBI antenna, which is about three times the gain of storebought wireless cards like Netgear and D-Link. The antenna is a directional antenna, so you will need to rotate it in the general direction of the access point to which you want to connect. As it rotates virtually 360 degrees, you can scan for wireless access points in any direction. This is a 32-bit cardbus card and will work on any Mac or PC laptop that has one of the above noted operating systems and a 32-bit cardbus PCMCIA slots (most laptops made within the last 7 years have cardbus slots).
This is an 802.11g card with top speeds of 54 megabits per second (mbps) when used with standard wireless access points. When used with Super G compatible access points, you can achieve speeds up to 108 mbps.

Shipping Options
Orders will generally be shipped the same or next day after payment is received. Periodically if we are experiencing unusually high order volume, your order may not be shipped until the second business day after payment is received, but this is not usual. We offer both UPS and US Postal methods of shipping as described below. If you do not specify with your payment which method of shipping you want, and the costs noted below for UPS and the US Postal Service are the same, your item will be shipped via UPS by default.
US 50 States + Puerto Rico: $6.50 US Postal Priority Mail. This includes delivery confirmation and insurance.
US 48 States: $8.50 UPS Ground Service. This includes insurance and tracking. This rate is only for bidders in the Continental US. We do ship to Alaska/Hawaii and APO/FPO but it must go via the US Postal Service so please take a look at a US Postal option below. If you need the item shipped via an expedited method like 2nd Day Air, please inquire with your zip code for rates before bidding.

Payment Details
United States bidders: Payment can be made via PayPal or money order. We can also take credit card orders directly. Payment must be made in full before we ship.
Accepted International Payment Methods: For international payment, we accept PayPal or international money order. If paying with money order, please contact us with the name of the money order issuer you plan to use before mailing the money order so we may confirm that our bank will accept it.
GENERAL NONPAYMENT POLICY- Remember that your purchase is a contract to pay for the item. Don't click the "Buy Now" button unless you will pay for the item. Payment is due within seven days from the end of auction. We do leave negative feedback and report non-paying bidders to eBay, which can lead to account suspension. If you have a problem completing the auction, please communicate with us.
The Guarantee/Auction Terms
The following is our return policy. We are not able to make exceptions to this policy so please read carefully before making a purchase. Bidders must accept and abide by all auction terms in order to bid. Any neutral or negative feedback left for us because we will not waive these terms will be countered with appropriate feedback explaining the situation.
At Rokland, our products are guaranteed to work for 30 days. Additionally, we want customers to be able to return products that they don't want, don't like, or did not mean to buy. That said, we do incur costs for each return, such as the nonrefundable eBay listing fee. If an item returned was new, we must resell it for much less money as a used open box item. Therefore, we charge a minimal 10% restocking fee on all returned items (new and used), except for products that test defective upon receipt back here. We believe this is a fair policy as most eBay sellers do not allow for any non-defective items to be returned at all, and the ones that do typically charge a 20% restocking fee. Again, this 10% restocking fee will be applied to all returns except where a product is reported to us as defective and tests defective upon receipt back here (if the product you return is defective we can send a replacement at our expense or issue a refund of the item price, whichever you prefer). A restocking fee WILL be charged even in the event a product does not work on your PC due to incompatibility or a conflict with another piece of hardware on your system, so long as the product is not defective. We can work with you to troubleshoot the problem if you have any difficulty getting it to work. We will not charge a restocking fee if you wish to exchange a non-defective product for something else, however a new shipping charge will apply for the new shipment.
While we would certainly appreciate your business, if you feel that a restocking fee would not be acceptable in the event you want to return a non-defective product to us, please do not make the purchase. If you do wish to return a product, please contact us for an RMA number and return address instructions. In addition to the restocking fee (which will be deducted from your refund), shipping and return shipping expenses are not refundable under any circumstance unless we ship you the incorrect product. In the event we send the wrong item, we will send the correct one to you at our expense and also reimburse you for your return shipping of the incorrect product.
There are no other warranties on this auction, expressed or implied. The exception to this is if the description states there is a manufacturer's warranty. In this event the item should be returned to the manufacturer in accordance with that warranty.
